LES BALCONS DE L'OISANS by Le Pas de la Confession.

The Voie Verte (Green Way) which runs along the Romanche river to warm up before the ascent in the forest towards Villard Reculas. It is an authentic village to discover; stone and wood chalets spread on the green mountain pastures or in the heart of the old village its traditional houses which majestically overhang the Romanche valley. The road that crosses the old village goes towards the village of Huez.

On this airy and steep road which overhangs the valley is
a mysterious sign announcing the Pas de la Confession, for it was indeed with a clear conscience that it was better to tackle this terrible steep passage!

When you arrive in Huez you can go up to Alpe d'Huez and even continue to the Col de Sarenne and go back down through the Vallée des Clavans and the Romanche to Bourg d'Oisans.

you can also from Huez go down directly to Bourg d'Oisans.
